Seek his face not his hand

I had all three of our trucks repossessed. I have never experienced that before. It was a really tough situation. After my husband went home to be with Jesus, I was left with very little. My paycheck could not keep up with our lifestyle and his businesses. They had to go.

During that time, it looked bleak. It looked like I would be in debt for a very long time. It looked like I would be living in a van down by the river. (Not really

that bad but pretty close)

I came to a great calmness about it all, I talked to God and said - if that is where you want me to be- I will go there. I knew that no matter where I stood financially God was with me. That is exactly where I wanted to be, in his will, in his arms, and in his love.

If you take everything from me, I will still love you and trust you.

I learned exactly how to seek his face and not his hand. I learned only to focus on the promises he gave us. I learned how to pray about those promises like they were true. I never asked for a million dollars, but I did believe that he would take care of me and my boys.

Psalm 23:6a -Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life….

I believe that if you focus on him, he will provide. Everything worked out exactly how it should of, in the exact time at the right place. I am doing well, I am not living by the river in a van, and I am continuing to focus on his face and his presence above all else.
